University of Ansbach | Degree Programs & PRIMUSS

The University of Ansbach is a modern university of applied sciences with a clear practical focus, a long regional connection, and a campus that closely links study, research, and everyday life. It was founded on May 1, 1996, on the site of the barracks built in 1724 and has continuously developed since then. Today, around 3,800 people study there in three faculties, while the university is organized as a public law corporation with self-administration. This mix of tradition, growth, and practical relevance makes the University of Ansbach attractive to many prospective students, current students, and employers. This page focuses on the most important topics that frequently arise when searching for the university: degree programs, master's, PRIMUSS, timetable, library, cafeteria, dates, address, directions, jobs, and open house. Degree Programs and Master's at the University of Ansbach

The University of Ansbach offers a wide range of programs from the faculties of Business, Engineering, and Media. In the bachelor's area, the selection ranges from Business and Business Administration to Business Informatics, Data Protection and IT Security, Applied Business and Media Psychology, and International Management, as well as Engineering, Media, and Biotech degree programs. According to the study overview, interested parties can expect bachelor's programs in the fields of Business, AI, IT, Engineering, Biotech, and Media; the bachelor's program typically lasts seven semesters and usually starts in the winter semester. This is particularly important for many inquiries about university ansbach degree programs, as it becomes clear early on how broad the university's profile is and how strongly the programs are oriented towards professional fields of application. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/startseite/campus-rundgang/studiengaenge/?utm_source=openai))

The university is also well-positioned in the master's area. For the Faculty of Business, the university lists Applied Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation, Digital Marketing, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and International Product and Service Management, among others. In the Faculty of Engineering, there are programs such as Applied Biotechnology, Applied Research in Engineering Sciences, Energy Management and Energy Technology, as well as Smart Energy Systems; the Faculty of Media complements the offerings with Digital Learning, Media Effects and Media Psychology, Multimedia Media Production, Public Relations and Corporate Communication, and Science Communication. The master's program typically lasts one to two years and deepens the prior knowledge from the bachelor's or opens up new subject areas. For students looking for a clear career path, these offerings are often the decisive reason to engage more intensively with university ansbach master's. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/master/))

The university is not only broad but also purposefully structured. The Faculty of Business emphasizes the practical orientation of many degree programs and also offers several part-time formats, which is interesting for people with work experience or a desire for more flexible study paths. In the Faculty of Engineering, the connection to the energy transition, digitalization, and application-oriented research is evident; in the media area, the focus is on conception, design, implementation, and technical provision across different channels. Those searching for university ansbach timetable, university ansbach dates, or university ansbach master's usually want to understand this combination of structure, clarity, and specialization. The university addresses this with an offering that is classic, digital, and practical at the same time. PRIMUSS, Login, and Timetable in University Life

A central topic for many students is PRIMUSS. At the University of Ansbach, all courses are documented in the online course catalog or in myTimetable PRIMUSS. Not only courses are displayed there, but also the organizational information related to studies. The university points out in several areas that applications, proofs, and study-related processes can be submitted online through the student portal. Therefore, those searching for university ansbach primuss or university ansbach login are often looking for the fastest access to lectures, exams, form submissions, and everyday study organization. The portal is thus not only a technical tool but a central part of daily student life. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/en/info/for-students/matters-relating-to-study-law))

For full functionality, a login is required, and access to the IT service portal is only available to active students. There, information about CampusCard, user management, IT services, and support for issues with systems like PRIMUSS or email can be found. The university also explains that new students receive access to introductory offers at the beginning of the semester and that IT services facilitate the first steps with videos and support information. The CampusCard also plays an important role here, as it can be used not only for certain rooms and areas but also for the student parking lot, among other things. The interplay of login, CampusCard, PRIMUSS, and service portal makes it clear how digitally organized university operations are. For the search for university ansbach timetable, this system is the most practical way. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/infos/it-service/))

It is particularly helpful that the university does not think of digital organization in isolation but connects it with orientation aids. For example, in the language center, courses are conducted semester-wise in PRIMUSS, and the university points out that course offerings may change depending on the semester. At the same time, students find room plans and further detailed information in the student portal. This is especially important for first-year students but also for higher semesters who switch between different buildings, faculties, and learning locations. Especially at large universities, this digital transparency ensures that an abstract term like university ansbach login becomes a real everyday advantage: less search effort, faster overview, and better planning. Library, Moodle, and Academic Work

The library is one of the most important anchor points on the campus of the University of Ansbach. It is located in Building 70 at Residenzstraße 8 and serves as a central point of contact for students, faculty, and researchers. The library offers a large selection of textbooks, academic journals, and digital media from all study programs at the university. In addition to classic lending options, modern workstations, group study rooms, and internet access are available. Through the online platform, users can access e-books, databases, and academic articles around the clock. This is precisely why university ansbach library is such a highly searched keyword: it is not just about a room, but about a whole ecosystem for work and research. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/infos/bibliothek))

The university also clearly supports academic work digitally. Through eduVPN, students and lecturers can access e-books and databases from outside the campus. The library also refers to a Moodle course for library introduction and a self-study course on Searching, Finding, and Writing, which bundles tips on research, citation, literature management, and writing academic papers. This is particularly practical for students who want to orient themselves for their first term paper, bachelor's thesis, or more complex research. Therefore, those searching for university ansbach moodle do not only encounter a learning platform but a whole bundle of support services that the university has consciously built around working with knowledge. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/en/info/library/information-and-service?utm_source=openai))

The library is also well integrated into the campus infrastructure. It is marked on the campus map in Building 70, and the university provides a dedicated contact address and a telephone information desk for inquiries. Additionally, there are notes on opening hours, self-service use, and digital offerings that make learning more flexible. For many students, this combination is important: a physical learning location with quiet workspaces and at the same time digital access that also works outside regular service hours. Those who want to not only visit the University of Ansbach but truly utilize it in their daily studies will quickly experience the library as a fixed part of their daily routine. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/infos/bibliothek))

Cafeteria and Campus Life on the University Grounds

Campus life at the University of Ansbach also includes the cafeteria, which not only provides food but also shapes the daily rhythm of many students. The cafeteria offers three dishes daily, a salad bar, and a selection of regional beverages. The building has over 300 seats and closes off the campus to the west. With its large glass front, the dining hall appears bright and open, and the terrace in front is especially popular in summer. For the search query university ansbach cafeteria, these details are relevant because they show that the cafeteria is more than just a place for food: it is a social space where study breaks, conversations, and spontaneous meetings occur. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/en/info/cafeteria))

The rest of the campus is also designed for short distances and clear orientation. The current campus map marks the most important buildings such as 50, 51, 53, 54, 65, 66, 70, 87, and 92. These include, among others, the degree programs in Business and Engineering, the Campus Center, university administration, library, and cafeteria. The map clearly shows that many central facilities are located in close proximity. This facilitates everyday life, as one can quickly switch between lectures, library, counseling, and cafeteria. Those visiting the University of Ansbach for the first time benefit from this compact structure: less search stress, more time for the essentials, and a campus atmosphere where study and exchange naturally belong together. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/fileadmin/Redaktion/Anfahrt/Campusplan_wichtigeorte_DE_05-2025.pdf))

In addition to the cafeteria and library, there are other places on campus that round out daily life, such as the Campus Center, lecture halls, laboratories, and central service areas. The university clearly values that students can complete their paths for teaching, counseling, eating, and learning in close proximity. This spatial closeness is a real advantage, especially for first-year students, as it simplifies the transition. Those who discover the University of Ansbach through university ansbach cafeteria, university ansbach library, or university ansbach login quickly realize that there is a coherent, well-organized campus model behind it. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/fileadmin/Redaktion/Anfahrt/Campusplan_wichtigeorte_DE_05-2025.pdf))

Dates, Open House, and Jobs

When it comes to university ansbach dates and university ansbach semester break 2026, the official schedule provides clear dates. For the summer semester 2026, the lecture period begins on March 16, 2026. The lecture-free period of the summer semester is indicated as the period from July 11, 2026, to September 30, 2026. Additionally, the schedule specifies individual free days and block weeks, such as the block week from May 18, 2026, to May 21, 2026, as well as the lecture day on June 5, 2026, without classes. This is particularly important for all those who want to plan their semester routine, as university ansbach schedule and semester break 2026 are often searched for when exams, internships, or vacation plans are approaching. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/termine))

The open house is also one of the firmly established dates at the university. For 2026, it was scheduled for May 9, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the campus at Residenzstraße 8, and the university describes the event as a recurring opportunity to experience the study offerings, facilities, and campus live. The University of Ansbach also uses such dates to engage prospective students, parents, schools, and the regional public. Additional formats such as Companies@Campus and information events on degree programs, careers, and applications are also included. Therefore, those searching for university ansbach open house are not just looking for a date but an insight into the university's self-understanding as an open, practice-oriented place of exchange. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/infos/allgemeine-studienberatung/tag-der-offenen-tuer?cHash=75c20c8dfcb2b48442ebea7467715b37))

There are also specific points of contact for university ansbach jobs. The Career Service sees itself as a central interface between students, graduates, and practice. It offers an online job board and counseling on internships, theses, entry-level positions, and jobs. Additionally, the university refers to open positions, benefits, and career paths on its job pages. This is particularly valuable for students because they can prepare for the transition to work at the same university where they learn. The combination of career counseling, company contact, and university job fairs makes it clear that jobs at the University of Ansbach are not treated as a side topic but as a central part of the educational path. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/infos/career-service?utm_source=openai))

Address, Directions, and Parking at the Ansbach Campus

The official visitor address of the University of Ansbach is Residenzstrasse 8, D-91522 Ansbach. The postal address is P.O. Box 1963, D-91510 Ansbach. The university's contact page also links to route descriptions and campus maps as central orientation aids. This is particularly helpful for those visiting the university for the first time and searching for university ansbach address or a quick overview of directions. The campus map already shows that the location is very clearly structured and that many important facilities are clustered around Residenzstraße. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/en/contact/))

The topic of parking is also recognizable on the campus map. Several parking areas and the university parking lot are marked there, and the Brücken-Center is located nearby. For orientation on-site, it is helpful to remember the building numbers, especially when aiming for the library, cafeteria, or specific faculty areas. The university makes it clear that access and orientation are taken seriously and that visitors can plan well in advance. Those searching for university ansbach address, university ansbach login, or university ansbach library often want not only digital information but also a reliable idea of the real location. This combination of online information and clear campus structure is very well fulfilled by the university. ([hs-ansbach.de](https://www.hs-ansbach.de/fileadmin/Redaktion/Anfahrt/Campusplan_wichtigeorte_DE_05-2025.pdf))

Those visiting the campus quickly recognize the practical layout of the university: library in Building 70, cafeteria in Building 87, the central administrative and teaching areas in the other numbered buildings of the plan, and the proximity to the Brücken-Center as a clearly visible orientation in the urban landscape. The University of Ansbach is thus a location where paths remain short and the most important functions are spatially close together. This not only facilitates the first visit but also everyday study life. This is precisely why the university is so easily accessible for many students, parents, and guests: the address is clear, the campus is straightforward, and the orientation on-site is well prepared. I am studying Smart Energy Systems at Ansbach Hochschule, and it's a great experience. The facility is very knowledgeable, the library has a variety of books, we have so many clubs and events going on. The Feuchtwangen campus has great equipment for IoT and also automation. I would say it's up to the students to make the most of all the university and facilities available.
