VIVA VOCE brings Christmas a cappella magic to Ansbach
On Sunday, December 20, 2026, VIVA VOCE will transform the St. Gumbertus Church in Ansbach into a festive sound space. With their Christmas show Dito!, the a cappella quartet celebrates a powerful home game full of humor, precision, and true Christmas spirit.
Four voices, a distinctive Vox-Pop sound
David Lugert, Andreas Kuch, Bastian Hupfer, and Heiko Benjes have stood for modern vocal music without instruments for over 20 years. Every tone is created with the voice: bass, melody, harmonies, and vocal percussion merge into a multifaceted live sound. VIVA VOCE calls their own style Vox-Pop – a powerful combination of a cappella tradition, pop aesthetics, and dynamic stage performance.
Christmas atmosphere in St. Gumbertus Church
The historical St. Gumbertus Church provides the perfect setting for the traditional Christmas home game of the Voces. The special acoustics allow multi-voiced arrangements, fine sound colors, and rhythmic synchronization to resonate immediately in the space. Between reflective moments, surprising musical twists, and charming stage humor, a concert experience for the whole family is created.
Musical precision meets humor
VIVA VOCE combines high-class vocal arrangements with an entertaining show. The four singers confidently switch between warm Christmas sounds, energetic ensemble singing, and winking presentations. This creates a live atmosphere that not only impresses musically but also resonates emotionally with the audience.
Home game of an internationally experienced ensemble
VIVA VOCE has its roots in Ansbach and is one of the best-known German vocal ensembles. The group has already held around 150 concerts a year across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as in Brazil, Chile, and China. For their artistic work, the ensemble has been awarded the Bavarian Culture Prize, among others.
Conclusion: A festive concert evening with goosebumps moments
If you want to experience Christmas with extraordinary vocal music, fine humor, and an intense audience atmosphere, VIVA VOCE's Dito! is the perfect evening. Secure your tickets and experience the Ansbach home game live at St. Gumbertus Church.
