Christmas Choral Sounds in St. Gumbertus
On Thursday, December 10, 2026, the choir Die Stimmen of the Music School Ansbach will bring festive music to the historical church St. Gumbertus. From 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, a varied repertoire will ring out, complementing the Ansbach Christmas Market with a vibrant musical aspect.
Warm Voices, Festive Atmosphere
As the first notes carry through the nave, the clear acoustics of St. Gumbertus blend with the special magic of the Advent season. The choir shapes its performance with Christmas songs and contemplative sounds that invite calm, listening, and shared experiences.
Music School Ansbach with Diverse Ensemble Work
The choir Die Stimmen is part of the ensemble offerings of the Municipal Music School Ansbach. The music school combines musical education, singing lessons, and group playing for various age groups. The offerings include not only the choir but also orchestras, bands, and other ensembles. The choir work thrives on clean intonation, balanced harmonies, and a focused stage performance.
Advent Music in the Heart of Ansbach
The performance takes place in the context of the Ansbach Christmas Market and creates an appealing contrast between busy market activities and contemplative church acoustics. Visitors will experience a compact concert experience with festive sounds, an atmospheric audience ambiance, and musical moments that make Advent audible.
Conclusion: A Melodious Break in the Christmas Market Hustle
The choir Die Stimmen invites you to experience the Ansbach Advent through music. Those who appreciate Christmas choral sounds, lively ensemble work, and a special sacred atmosphere will find the perfect spot for a delightful hour in St. Gumbertus. This concert can be ideally combined with a visit to the Christmas market.
