Kronenbräu Dautenwinden | Events & Opening Hours
The Kronenbräu Dautenwinden is a staple in the Ansbach district and combines several experience worlds under one roof: a traditional tavern with Franconian coziness, a flexible banquet hall as a versatile event location, club and party offerings in several areas, and its own food concept with the Burgerstubn. The venue is located at Dautenwinden 3 in 91522 Ansbach and can be reached via the official website and by phone. The Kronensaal is particularly well-known, where live bands and elaborately staged themed parties take place on Saturdays. The offering is complemented by 's Wohnzimmer as a club area and the Burgerstubn, which offers snacks and burger variations on Saturday nights. For celebrations and corporate events, the team provides full-service event catering and, through the associated tent rental, festival and party tents with equipment. The tavern itself has up to 80 seats, while the banquet hall is ideal for guest numbers starting from 100 and can be arranged freely depending on the occasion. This combination makes the Kronenbräu a versatile location for concert evenings, club nights, weddings, conferences, or anniversaries, which is transparently traceable thanks to regular event updates and photo galleries.
Events & Dates: Kronensaal, 's Wohnzimmer and Highlights Throughout the Year
Those interested in the program can find the current information on the Dauten website in the Events section as well as in the News section Current. The profile of the location is clear: Every Saturday, the Kronensaal becomes the main area for live acts or lovingly curated themed parties. The official Kronensaal page explicitly communicates this weekly rhythm, setting an expectation that fans and first-time visitors can rely on. Throughout the season, the event calendar features recurring formats and well-known names that have made stops in Dautenwinden over the years: Mallorca party series, German rock evenings, or club nights with changing guest DJs. The gallery on the Dauten page documents this diversity with photo series from the respective past Saturdays; for example, there are pictures from VIVA 100% Deutschrock, Motion Sound, 2000s/2010s specials, or guest appearances by party acts. These photo series provide a good orientation for the atmosphere in the hall and show how the stage, lighting design, and audience experience interact. Alongside the Kronensaal, the location operates 's Wohnzimmer as a club area, which musically moves between hip-hop, house, top 40, and EDM. This creates a defined mix: live hall and club, which together appeal to a broad audience. For larger groups, birthdays, or corporate gatherings, it is worth looking into the option of booking lounges; the corresponding area is linked on the Dauten pages. Visitors who want to plan early can also find information in the Current section, where event announcements with dates are listed. Conveniently, the retrospectives in the gallery allow for assessing the mood and setups of individual evenings, which helps in choosing the right event. For orientation regarding holiday specials or thematic series, it is advisable to check the location's channels at short intervals, as program points – such as for New Year's Eve, during the winter months, or for seasonal kickoff events – are specifically advertised. The program understanding remains constant: Saturdays are big, while during the week the focus is on preparation, organization, and gastronomic offerings. Those looking for live bands will find them in the Kronensaal; those who prefer club nights will find their place in 's Wohnzimmer; those who enjoy both can switch between the areas and thus shape their individual evening.
Opening Hours & Contact: Tavern, Pickup Times, and Saturday Operations
The operator pages transparently show how gastronomy and event operations complement each other in terms of time. The official Kronenbräu page currently lists the tavern as closed but provides opening and pickup times on Sundays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM; advance ordering is requested. This information is explicitly communicated as the current status and may change depending on the season or organizational situation. For binding information, it is advisable to contact directly before a planned visit: by phone at 0981 65413 or via email through the contact methods listed on the website. The event operations on Saturdays are clearly described on the Dauten pages: The Kronensaal serves as the main area for live bands and themed parties, while 's Wohnzimmer offers club sound in parallel; the Burgerstubn provides guests with quick meals. This structure explains why most activity during the week falls on the weekend and why it makes sense to check the event pages in real-time. For private bookings – whether for a wedding, an anniversary, or a corporate event – the banquet hall is adaptable. The tavern itself offers up to 80 seats and is suitable for smaller occasions in a cozy atmosphere. For larger gatherings starting from 100 guests, the banquet hall is the right choice, as it can be set up with a stage, dance floor, buffet stations, and individual table arrangements. Since the location is active in several areas, this also affects communication and booking channels: While gastronomy and the banquet hall can be reached through the Kronenbräu page, event teasers, lounge bookings, and photo galleries are handled through the Dauten page. Those interested in dates, admission information, or specials primarily use the Events and Current sections. Those wishing to clarify catering, menu agreements, or hall availability should use the contacts on the Kronenbräu page. For last-minute inquiries about a specific Saturday, the social media channels are helpful, through which the operators regularly refer to new posts. This interplay of website, event portal, and social media ensures that visitors receive current information, whether about entry times, artists, themed topics, or culinary offerings on the respective evening.
Menu & Burgerstubn: Snacks, Burgers, and Catering Options
A characteristic element of the location is the Burgerstubn. It is active on Saturdays and offers what makes a long party night enjoyable: quick, solid meals. The own page lists specific examples, such as hamburgers and cheeseburgers, the Dauten burger with bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce, veggie burgers, as well as popular classics like currywurst with fries, schnitzel variations, sandwiches, and small snacks. Hot drinks are also available; on-site, there is an allergen documentation folder for inspection. This offering is part of the club and event operations: those who want to refuel briefly between live bands and DJs can easily get something warm to eat. The Burgerstubn complements the gastronomic base of the house, as the traditional tavern exists alongside it, offering up to 80 people and creating the right setting for family occasions or club meetings. However, the culinary experience does not end at the door: through its own tent rental and event catering, the Kronenbräu positions itself as a full-service partner that can provide high-quality food even outside the house. This includes not only menu or buffet planning but also, depending on the need, the provision of festival and party tents, equipment, bars, cooling options, power distribution, and lighting. For weddings, anniversaries, or corporate events, this results in a coherent package: celebrations take place in the banquet hall, the kitchen delivers accordingly, and if the celebration is to take place at another location, the team brings tents and equipment along. This flexibility explains why the Kronenbräu is perceived both as a public nightlife location and as a host for private celebrations. Those wishing for a specific sequence of dishes for an event – from hearty Franconian to modern interpretations – can coordinate the details individually with the team. For Saturday nights, however, many guests find the selection of burgers and classics from the Burgerstubn sufficient, which is quickly available in rhythm with the event. This creates a seamless experience between show, dance floor, and culinary interlude, which is thematically consistent but not complicated. From a planning perspective, it is important to note: The Burgerstubn is particularly designed for Saturday formats; for banquets, corporate meals, or weddings, independent menus and seating arrangements in the banquet hall are developed that correspond with the stage, dance floor, and buffet logistics.
Hall, Seats & Seating Plan: Capacities, Setups, and Lounge Booking
The spatial structure is one of the strengths of the location. The tavern offers up to 80 seats, providing the foundation for cozy gatherings, family celebrations, or pre- and post-discussions around an event visit. The banquet hall – known in the region as the Kronenbräu Saal – is ideal for guest numbers starting from 100 people. This makes it a reliable choice for larger private celebrations and corporate events, but also for Saturday formats with live bands and DJ acts. A look at the banquet hall description shows: the stage is ready, the dance floor is adjustable, and the table arrangements are flexible. A general, fixed hall plan does not exist intentionally because the uses are very diverse. For parties, standing areas are used to allow sufficient movement in front of the stage; for weddings and conferences, seated areas dominate, where buffet stations and pathways are planned. This variability affects sightlines, acoustics, and guest flow but is mitigated by the experience of the team. Those with special requests for a group can book lounges. The lounge offering is linked in the Dauten areas and is primarily aimed at guests who want to secure a fixed meeting point during a live or club night. For organizer or corporate concerns, however, the classic tools of an event location are crucial: stage lighting settings, sound, potential projection, and a schedule that connects catering, speeches, and show elements. The team on-site offers advice and implementation from a single source. It is important to view the capacities soberly: 80 seats in the tavern is a clear number; starting from 100 guests, the banquet hall unfolds its strengths. In addition, the ensemble can be expanded with tents if a celebration is envisioned to be larger or to take place outdoors regardless of the weather. In total, this results in a modular room concept: small tables in the tavern, large gatherings in the banquet hall, lounge zones for the club, tents as outdoor extensions. Guests benefit from the fact that the location has gained many years of experience with regionally known bands, DJs, and various event formats, which is evident in the visual language of the gallery and in the way Saturday programming is designed.
Directions & Public Transport: Address, Bus Line 759, and Practical Tips
The location is situated in Ansbach-Dautenwinden at the address Dautenwinden 3, 91522 Ansbach. The official website provides complete contact details, including a phone number, making inquiries straightforward. For public transport access, it is relevant that the city transport Ansbach operates line 759 with the destination Dautenwinden; the valid schedules are updated seasonally. Those arriving by train can check the connection to the regional bus network or plan a taxi ride from Ansbach station. Official parking information is not prominently displayed on the operator pages. Therefore, it is advisable to pay attention to the signage on-site and to allow enough time for orientation during events with high visitor numbers. For larger groups that have booked a lounge or an area in the banquet hall, a brief phone call is sensible to clarify arrival time and possible organizational details – such as access or gift storage for private celebrations. Those planning a wedding or corporate event also benefit from advice regarding delivery, technical setup, and any zones needed for photo or video teams. The advantage of the location outside a tight city center becomes particularly evident during late-night departures after the event: the transition from the venue to the main road usually goes quickly, and the access routes are clearly understandable on the map. Since the operator pages refer to Google and map integrations, it is advisable to take the navigation data directly from these sources to avoid address and route errors. For guests traveling by public transport, the line 759 is the central connection, and schedule changes – as is usual in December – are announced on the city transport page. Those traveling late at night should pay attention to the last return trips or organize carpooling in advance. During winter conditions, holidays, or special events, traffic volume may increase; a time buffer ensures that sound checks, entry, or reserved table times are not missed.
Photos & Impressions: Gallery, Social Media, and How to Prepare
A special service around the Dauten events is the extensive gallery. Regularly, photo series from the past Saturdays are published there, capturing the character of the evenings very well. Those who have not been on-site can thus get a realistic picture of the stage, lighting, crowd, and overall atmosphere. The photo series are organized by date and refer to the diverse formats: from pure club nights to live bands with full hall production. For organizers or wedding parties, the gallery is also helpful, as the photos can show how room sizes, stage setups, and decoration ideas can be combined. Additionally, it is worth looking at the social media channels referenced by the website. Here, short-term information is often shared, such as about special guests, contests ahead of an evening, or spontaneous theme changes. Those wishing to check ticket situations or entry slots should primarily follow these channels or the event pages, where the operators consolidate the information. Another advantage of the photo and post structure: recurring series become visible, allowing fans of certain music genres to pick their favorite evenings. Image motifs from the Burgerstubn, lounge areas, or thematic decorations also help to find better placement in the hall – for example, if one wants to stand closer to the stage or prefers to use a lounge as a retreat. Even though no fixed hall plan is published, it can be inferred from the photos where the stage, technical areas, and typical pathways are usually located. For guests coming for the first time, this is good preparation: those who want to make entry relaxed should arrive on time, meet beforehand in the tavern, or coordinate the group through lounge booking. And those planning a private event can use the gallery as an inspiration board to show the team what atmosphere is desired – hearty Franconian, glamorous wedding, or clubby modern. In summary, the visual documentation is a core component of communication: it not only substantiates what is stated on the poster but shows it in lived scenes.
Catering, Tent Rental & Off-Site Celebrations: Everything from a Single Source
In addition to the Saturday formats and the tavern, the Kronenbräu is also active as an event partner outside its own walls. The beer garden and catering page describes its self-understanding as a full-service partner: high-quality dining – no matter where. The offering ranges from menu and buffet planning to equipping with festival and party tents to decoration, lighting, and the appropriate technical infrastructure. For weddings, club parties, corporate anniversaries, or festivals, this means: one contact person, many components, a coordinated result. The associated tent rental specifies this service and shows that the tents are available in different sizes and equipment levels. Setup and dismantling, seating arrangements, bars, refrigerators, power distribution boxes, and lighting can be included if desired. This allows the capacity of the location to be expanded in good weather or to fully equip an offsite celebration. The experience from the weekly event operations with live acts and club nights directly pays off: logistics, timing, and guest flow are well-rehearsed, making the planning realistic and practical. For couples planning their wedding, this is doubly valuable – whether they celebrate in the banquet hall or prefer a tent in the green. For companies, it opens up the possibility of combining meetings with evening get-togethers, where stage technology, catering, and furniture come from a single source. The collaboration is facilitated by established communication channels: inquiries can be made and concepts discussed through the Kronenbräu contacts; through the event pages, one gets a feel for the look & feel, which can then be translated into offsite planning. The fact that the tavern is intended as a culinary hub is reflected in the operators' tone: Franconian serenity meets modern cuisine. This claim is also reflected in the catering, which can scale from down-to-earth to elegant. In summary, this creates a triad of offerings that is remarkable in the region: Saturday event power, gastronomic roots, and mobile festival expertise for all kinds of occasions.

I can't judge the food since I've never eaten there. But the disco is just great. I usually go to the 80s and 90s party and it's always awesome. Sure, the drink prices are a bit steep, but everything has gotten more expensive. But the entrance fee is totally fine.

Well, the restaurant is very nicely designed and the food is really delicious, but unfortunately the service was very rude, which kind of ruined our evening.

I was at Kronenbräu for the first time yesterday to decorate for a wedding and was received so warmly and supported by the owner and the team that it deserves this entry. The beer garden, the venue, and the hall are such a great location for parties and weddings, it's a shame it's quite a distance from us in Fürth. I would recommend Kronenbräu for your events in that area anytime. With how friendly and competent they are, the celebration can only succeed! I'll take a few more pictures so everyone can see what can be done with the beer garden. I wish EVERYONE successful celebrations. Best regards, BLUMENHAUS AM ESPAN, Jürgen Kaufmann

Very good parking options, great venue, great staff, very good food, huge restrooms, super beer garden with play options for the little guests. Highly recommended for larger celebrations. You can really spend a magical day there!

Super great music (80s and 90s party), many bars, 2 levels in the big hall, 2 halls with different music styles, 1 bistro.
