Autumnal Sound Variety for a Good Cause in Ansbach
On Thursday, October 29, 2026, the Bavarian Police Orchestra will transform the Onoldiasaal Ansbach into a concert venue for musical splendor and lived solidarity. The benefit concert starts at 19:00 and combines symphonic brass music with an important cause: The proceeds support hospice work in the city and district of Ansbach.
Fiery Opening with Spanish Temperament
The concert evening opens with Consuela Cisar, a lively Paso Doble by Ferrer Ferran. Distinct rhythms, striking brass lines, and the dance energy of the genre immediately bring movement to the stage performance. The professional symphonic brass orchestra unfolds a precise sound, in which woodwinds, brass, and percussion blend powerfully together.
From Venice to Armenia
With Johann Strauss’ overture A Night in Venice, the program takes the audience to the lagoon city. Bright sound colors, elegant melodies, and the fine synchronization of the orchestra create a festive atmosphere. Next, Alfred Reed's Armenian Dances, a classic of brass orchestra literature, will be performed, combining traditional folk tunes with modern symphonic elements, complex orchestration, and varied rhythms.
Experience the Bavarian Police Orchestra Live
The Bavarian Police Orchestra is the professional symphonic brass orchestra of the Bavarian Police. The ensemble consists of 45 trained professional musicians from 14 nations and has been conducted by General Music Director Prof. Johann Mösenbichler since 2006. Each year, the ensemble hosts numerous benefit concerts for social, charitable, and cultural purposes throughout Bavaria.
Its musical work has taken the orchestra to renowned events and concert venues in Berlin, Budapest, Vienna, and Brussels. In Ansbach, musical expertise meets immediate audience atmosphere: The conducting shapes dynamic tension arcs, while the acoustics of the hall carry fine woodwind colors just as robustly as powerful tutti passages.
Music That Directly Helps
The concert evening is entirely dedicated to hospice work. By purchasing tickets, visitors not only experience a diverse concert, but also support the accompaniment of seriously ill and dying people as well as their relatives. The combination of high-quality stage performance and social engagement makes this evening special.
Conclusion: An Evening of Sound and Attitude
The benefit concert of the Bavarian Police Orchestra promises autumnal sound colors, symphonic brass music, and moving moments in the Onoldiasaal Ansbach. Anyone who wants to experience live music while making a valuable contribution to hospice work will find a night with lasting impact here.
